Second Internal Math Fair at SHS
During the second week of March the students of SHS will be presenting Math projects in one of the following categories:
- Real World Problem Investigation
- Abstract Problem Investigation
- Real World Model or Demonstration
The main objective of this Internal Math Fair is to encourage our students to understand and apply math to real life situations and enjoy it while they learn. Furthermore, a project from each division will be chosen by a judging panel to represent the school at the AUB Math and Science Fair

Intermediate and Secondary Division
Date: March 10, 2011 ( to be confirmed)
Location: Ground Floor - Block B
World Math Day- March 1, 2011
SHS students from Grade 4 to Grade 9 are registered and have started practicing to participate in the World Math Day on March 1, 2011. This is a worldwide event through the Internet that encourages students to enjoy math and compete with other students all around the globe.
