Last year, the English Department organized a book writing event in which all students in the Elementary Division wrote books. Those books were displayed in the classrooms and were a great success. Following last year's success, the English Department decided to organize this event again based on the following guidelines:
To encourage our students to read, the English Department is offering book reading awards. The awards will be granted based on the following guidelines:
For every book read the student has to fill a book report.
For every 10 books read, the student will receive+1 on his/her English grade and a reading award.
For every 20 books read, the student will receive +2 on his/her English grade and a gift.
For every 30 books read, the student will receive +3 on his/her English grade and a gift.
The log and book reports will be checked by the teacher of English on weekly basis.
