CIRCULAR ACP N.3 /AY 10-11
Dear Students,

The Students’ Council would like to inform you of the following.

1) On Friday the 3rd of December, the class representatives elected a President, Vice President, Treasury and Secretary. The results are as following: President - Maya Schmayaah, IB1; Vice President - Milia Hasbani, 9  B L.P.; Treasury - Stacey Baaklini, Sec 2 Hum.;
Secretary - Christopher Tayah, 10 C.

2) The amount of money collected from the character day held on the 3rd of December is 979,500 L.L. This amount will go to a family in need chosen by the school's administration. We would like to thank you all for having contributed to this event and for having indirectly helped a family in need.

3) All of you attended the lecture given by the JCD (Jeunesse Contre la Drogue) on Thursday the 2nd of December. The Students’ Council in collaboration with the PA and Mrs. Samira Mallat will be selling tombola tickets, in order to raise money for the association to open in a new building. The tickets will be sold by the Student Council members (the class representatives) and each ticket will be sold for 2,000 L.L.

SHS in Beirut Marathon

November 7, 2010 was a joyful day where 209 SHS students, 19 volunteers in addition to 66 participants from parents and friends, joined the Beirut Marathon in collaboration with the Brave Heart Fund.
